Peter C. Earle, Ph.D., is the Head of Research and a Senior Research Fellow at the American Institute for Economic Research.

Before joining AIER in 2018, he spent over twenty years in trading, analysis, and management roles across financial markets and has also consulted widely in the cryptocurrency and gaming sectors.

His research explores financial markets, monetary policy, macroeconomic trends, and the challenges of economic measurement, and his work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg, and other major outlets. He has written and edited eight books and published over 500 articles. 

Dr. Earle has a doctorate in economics from the University of Angers in Western France, a Masters in Applied Economics, an MBA in finance, and a degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.”
